Дефилето на Balmain от Парижката седмица на модата бе грандиозен вечерен модно-музикален фестивал – благотворителен спектакъл с участието на звезди, най-новите модни творения и изпълнения, а накрая на подиума се качи и певицата Шер, предаде Асошийтед прес.

Дизайнерът Оливие Рустен доказа, че е сред най-големите световни шоумени в света на модата. За пореден път той организира не шоу, а фестивал за Balmain, проведен на огромен стадион.

Разбира се, най-важният момент бе финалът, когато дизайнерът Рустен излезе ръка за ръка с певицата Шер (76 г.). Носителката на награда „Оскар“ се появи на модния подиум усмихната, като предизвика ентусиазирани възгласи от публиката. Шер носеше мраморно боди от ликра с дълбоко деколте, традиционните за модната къща заострени рамене, черен клин и обувки на високи платформи.

„Просто си изкарах най-добре на сцената, почувствах се страхотно“, написа тя в Туитър по-късно.

От Balmain казаха, че почитат най-доброто в храната, музиката и модата в издигнато селище, пълно с трибуни – на стадион „Жан Буен“ в западната част на Париж, традиционно приемащ повече ръгби мачове, отколкото модни творения. Около 10 000 билета бяха предвидени за широката публика, но при условие, че зрителите направят дарение за благотворителност.

На фона на пищността на някои гости може да им бъде простено, че забравиха, че целта на събитието бяха дрехите, отбелязва Асошиейтед прес. Визиите съчетаваха конфекцията с висшата мода, а дизайнерските екипи на Balmain бяха заложили и на органични материали. Представено бе уникално бюстие, създадено с кора от кестенови дървета, имаше и модели, изработени от материали от тресавища и ливади, всички омекотени във вода.

Шоуто бе емоционално и културно изследване за самия Рустен, който открито говори за осиновяването си и наскоро откри, че биологичните му родители са от Африканския рог.

„Влиянието на Африка, разбира се, е доста лесно забележимо“, заяви дизайнерът.
